Jack Bregman, VMD 
Dr. Jack Bregman completed his under-graduate work at Columbia University in New York City with a degree in Pharmacy. In 1966 he received his veterinary medical doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Upon graduation he returned to Brooklyn, N.Y. and went into small animal practice. In 1970 he opened his own private small animal hospital on Coney Island Avenue. To this day he still practices in the same neighborhood; however, he has expanded to other neighborhoods in Brooklyn and Long Island.Dr. Jack Bregman and his wife are the proud owners of four horses, one Dalmation, and three house cats.USDA Accredited Veterinarian for International Health Certificates Licensed in New York and Pennsylvania

Eric Bregman, VMD
Dr. Eric Bregman began his under-graduate degree at the University of Houston and after three years he received an early acceptance to the University of Pennsylvania to study veterinary medicine. Upon graduation from UPenn he completed a formal internship in medicine and surgery at the Oradell Animal Hospital in Oradell, New Jersey. Currently, Eric is President of the New York State Veterinary Medical Society, and active in the  New York City Veterinary Medical Association and the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine Alumni Association. Dr Bregman is a certified Radiation Officer and is licensed to adminsiter radioactive iodine to treat feline hyperthyroidism.  He is a Category II U.S.D.A. accredited veterinarian, and is licensed to practice in New York, New Jersey, Florida and Pennsylvania.  Dr. Eric Bregman is also the proud owner of two Cairn terrier, Lily and Woodford

Allan Bregman, DVM
Dr. Allan Bregman completed his undergraduate studies at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York  and received a degree in Animal Science. Upon graduation, he worked for the New York State Diagnostic Laboratory, and then attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Allan’s clinical year was spent at North Carolina State in Raleigh, North Carolina.  He received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. Currently Allan is The Ethics Chairperson for the New York City Veterinary Medical Association in Brooklyn, New York. He is a member of the Executive Board of the New York State Veterinary Medical Society and represents New York City.  Dr. Allan Bregman is the proud owner of two domestic short haired cats: Peanut Butter and Jelly.He is a Category II USDA Accredited Veterinarian and is well versed in performing and documenting International Health Certificates.  He is licensed in New York.

Anjali Pingle, MVB 
Graduated from Oberlin College 1999 with a Bachelors degree in Neuroscience. She then moved to New York City and worked as a vet assistant in a small animal clinic in the lower east side for one year before attending the Universty College of Dublin, Ireland. She received her veterinary degree in 2005 and moved back to Brooklyn the same year. Dr.Pingle was excited to join the Bregman vet group as an associate veterinarian in 2007.In her free time she likes exploring Brooklyn, traveling, reading and spending time with her niece. She lives in DUMBO with her husband and her cat, Seamus.

Suzanne Zelman, DVM 
While Dr. Zelman is a native New Yorker, she spent eight years in Massachusetts; as an animal science major at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and at Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine for her doctorate. She had further medical and surgical training as an intern at NYC Veterinary Specialists in Manhattan in 2007-8, and joined the Bregman Veterinary Group in Spring 2009.Dr. Zelman is happy to be residing again in New York with her wonderful cat, Wiggy.

Robin Sturtz, DVM 
Dr Sturtz is a 2004 graduate of the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Georgia.
She has been with The Cat Hospital since she graduated, first in full-time and now in part-time capacity.She is the Director of the Program in Veterinary Technology at LaGuardia Community College, and is an Adjunct Associate Professor at Mercy College. She is the President of the Association for Veterinary Family Practice (2010-2011). She has a keen interest in feline internal medicine. As they will tell you, the Bregmans taught her everything she knows. She has two cats, Kira and Oscar.


Kimberly Levine, DVM 
Dr. Levine received her Bachelor of Science degree in 2005 from Binghamton University in upstate New York. Upon graduation she moved to Ames, Iowa where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Iowa State University in 2009.  Dr. Levine joins us after completing an emergency and medicine internship at a specialty/referral hospital in Long Island, New York.Dr. Levine shares her home with her two cats, Olivia and Nicholas and her Shih Tzu rescue, Whembley.  A new resident of Park Slope, she looks forward to experiencing all that Brooklyn has to offer.

Mark Landesman, DVM 
Dr. Mark Landesman received his undergraduate degree from SUNY at Buffalo, and his veterinary degree from the Université de Liege in Brussels, Belgium.  After graduation, he practiced mostly in the humane area, spending several years at the Bergh Memorial Animal Hospital of the ASPCA developing surgical expertise, North Shore Animal League, Bide-A-Wee and the Humane Society of New York. Intersped in his career were several positions in private practice, including emergency medicine.  A practice owner for 12 years, he is proud to have merged the Central Brooklyn Veterinary Center with the Bregman Veterinary Group and is delighted to see his long time clients in the same neighborhood, as well as meeting new ones with their beloved pets.Dr. Landesman lives in Manhattan with his rescues, Zack and Rocky
